Good housing and support for migrant workers<\/h2>\n

At JobXion we've been happily placing migrant workers with our clients for years. But of course this has to be done properly. Unfortunately, the working and living conditions of migrant workers in our country often aren't what they should be. At JobXion we'd like to share what we do to make sure our migrant workers enjoy working in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

Quality housing <\/h3>\n

At JobXion we're well aware that leaving home and hearth to work in a foreign country is no small thing. While migrant workers are working in the Netherlands, they need to be able not only to work comfortably but also to live comfortably. That's why we also arrange housing for our foreign tradespeople. We do this by renting accommodation from various providers. These parties make sure the housing is of good quality and that problems and faults are fixed as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

SNF standard<\/h3>\n

We always try to arrange housing within a 30 km radius of the project. Our houses have to meet the SNF standard<\/a>. This is a housing standard that safeguards quality and safety. We pass this inspection every year because we take quality very seriously.<\/p>\n

Privacy for our tradespeople<\/h3>\n

On top of that, everyone with us has their own bedroom. We think privacy is really important for our tradespeople. We also keep to a maximum number of tradespeople per household and of course check whether there's free parking at the house. But we go even further than that. If someone needs bedding, for example, we provide that too.<\/p>\n

Polish coordinators<\/h3>\n

We also set high standards when it comes to supporting our Polish migrant workers, for example. As well as having a recruitment department in Poland, we also have a team of Polish coordinators in the Netherlands. Olga, Agnieszka and Karolina are coordinators who each specialise in a specific trade. Olga is the point of contact for Polish installation technicians, Agnieszka for Polish carpenters and Karolina for Polish concrete carpenters.<\/p>\n

Added value<\/h3>\n

These coordinators are a huge asset for our Polish tradespeople, because they have a point of contact who also speaks Polish. That means they can discuss things in their own language, which makes it easier for them to speak up. Our coordinators also speak both Polish and Dutch, so we can go that extra mile for our technicians and clients. The coordinators can always be reached and can help with questions about pay, housing, clothing, doctor's appointments, tools and loads of other things.<\/p>\n

Delivering great projects together<\/h3>\n

That's how we try to make life as pleasant as possible for the technicians. We can also schedule appointments for them and sort things out in the Netherlands, such as health insurance or opening a bank account. This benefits our tradespeople, but also our clients who use migrant workers. The coordinators also visit the sites and can help on the spot when there's a problem. They also provide support on a tradesperson's first day. That's how we make sure our tradespeople and clients can deliver great projects together.<\/p>\n
